![]() For residential electricians these are the best insulated screwdrivers. The Dewalt DWHT66417 is a insulated screwdriver set of 10 that comes with 3 slot bits, 3 phillips bits, and 2 square bits, the perfect combination for a residential or commercial electrician. Quite honestly, now I know what my girlfriend means by small. Dewalt DWHT66417 Vinyl Grip Insulated Screwdriver Set. My only gripe is that I wish the bottom of the handle could be hollowed out with a magnet to store a second bit. The dimensions on this are perfect for my hands (not small, I wear size XL gloves) and the grip with the Kraftform handle is best in class. Too useful to not have handy at all times, especially instead of a keychain-style imitation screwdriver (which never works like you hoped). I keep a #2 PH in it and it's part of my EDC, along with a standard size flathead blade in the same pocket. This is a fantastic little pocket-sized screwdriver. Posted by Michael Kubancsek on Dec 10th 2020 Compact, comfortable, holds the bit firmly in place. ![]() And this now a part of my EDC set up.Īnother great bit holding screwdriver from Wera. The only down side, I wish it could extend like my other wera handle it would be a great feature. I like the locking feature on bits, and the fact that I can put any 1/4 in. Great compact pocket tool, I can carry around with out taking so much space. We want to make the screwdriving experience ever simpler, safer and full of joy. We at Wera firmly believe that we can always question existing standards. Great for working on tight areas and electronics. Screwdriving tools from Wera are tools from and for Tool Rebels. 5 Wera Rapidaptor Bitholding Screwdriver Handle. The size of the handle is very ergonomic. I’ve struggled in the past with bits staying attached to the screw once I’m done. The bit stays locked in place until you want to change it. The rapidator makes this bit holding screwdriver an excellent tool for those hard to reach places. I have to keep tabs on it since all the guys at work try to steal it. Perfect size to fit in pants or a shirt pocket. I love this driver! Changing bits is a breeze instead of a hassle. With a Wera 89mm power bit it holds and acts like a precision screwdriver. With a 1" bit loaded it is a compact, pocketable, capable screwdriver. Works great when you don’t need a 90 degree adapter.īrought this item to get around old door handle where a regular screwdriver you have to wedge in on an angle not this thing has a good amount of positive flex and the locking collar holds bits in nice and firmly with no chance of slipping. The Rapidaptor bit holder locks bit's in place with authority. Not the most flexible, but it does have it’s place. It has no give while turning unlike similar drivers. But what it lacks in flexibility, it makes up for in turning strength. Love using it and can tell it will last a long time! Very useful tool! Bend is probably about 30 degrees max. I suppose holding on to bits too well is better than the opposite, but still not ideal. The magnet is so strong I'm debating removing it to see if the locking collar alone will do. It has both a locking collar and magnet to hold bits in place. ![]() Only reason it's not a 5 star is some bits can be difficult to remove. Some reviewers have dinged it for that, but I don't think that's a problem, especially given how much torque you can apply with it. The three-zone concept (power zone, fast-turning zone, precision zone) reduces fastening time distinctly and lowers the cost for each screw connection. Quality level on par with other Wera products (excellent.) Functional flexibility is real close to 45 degrees. Still enough for what I've used it for, but do not expect it to bend at crazy angles. ![]() Only reason I knocked a star off is that it isn't as flexible as it appears. It's gotten into a whole lot of spaces I wouldn't have been able to get to with anything else. This is a really handy bit driver to have in your bag. If you're thinking you may need something like this, you absolutely do. Would recommend everyone to have one of these in their tool bag.
